A vampire bat came flapping in from the night, covered in fresh blood, and parked himself on the roof of the cave to get some help.
Pretty soon all the other bats smelled the blood and began hassling him about where he got it. He told them to go away and let him get some sleep. However, the bats persisted until finally he gave in.
“Ok, follow me” he said, and flew out of the cave with hundreds of bats behind him. Down through the valley they went, across a river and into a forest full of trees. Finally he slowed down and all the other bats excitedly milled around him.
“Now, do you see that tree over there?” he asked.
“Yes, yes, yes!!” the bats all screamed in a hungry frenzy.
“Good,” said the first bat tiredly, “Because I didn’t!”
9/11 – some facts
Posted on: June 10, 2008
I read these facts about September 11 attack ot WTC, New York.
- New York City has 11 letters
- Afghanistan has 11 letters.
- George W Bush has 11 letters.
- New York is the 11th state.
- The first plane crashing against the Twin Towers was flight number 11.
- Flight 11 was carrying 92 passengers. 9 + 2 = 11
- Flight 77 which also hit Twin Towers, was carrying 65 passengers. 6+5 = 11
- The tragedy was on September 11, or 9/11 as it is now known. 9 + 1+ 1 = 11
- The date is equal to the US emergency services telephone number 911. 9 + 1 + 1 = 11.
- The total number of victims inside all the hi-jacked planes was 254. 2 + 5 + 4 = 11. (there are contradicting statements to this fact)
- September 11 is day number 254 of the calendar year. Again 2 + 5 + 4 = 11.
- The Madrid bombing took place on 3/11/2004. 3 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 4 = 11.
- The tragedy of Madrid happened 911 days after the Twin Towers incident.
( There are many more such such facts circulating around online, many of them are a hoax. But I have listed only few facts that are true. )
To remember
These coincidences are of least significance compared to the pain the incident inflicted on the world community. Let us pray for the souls departed and their families. Let us pray for a safer tomorrow.
